The word Manicure has come from two words which are manus and cura that means hand and care. In French manicure a light colored polish is applied on the whole nail and then over it a white polish is applied on the tips. The paraffin manicure has the advantage then because the hands are soaked in the paraffin wax, they help make the hands very soft. Some of the other popular manicures are a hot stone, spa manicure and a luxury manicure. These types of manicures are good for those people who have a little more time to sit and relax. This is actually a real treat for them.
